Formu respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the Formu website and services, including the "Free Evaluation" form.
1. Data we collect
Data you provide: the company/organization name, contact name, email, phone, industry, and form requirements you enter in the "Free Evaluation" form, along with any sample form files you upload.
Data collected automatically: for operations and security, our servers may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and access time.
If a sample form you upload contains personal or health data, we recommend de-identifying it first; you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share it.
2. Purposes and use
To contact you, evaluate your form-digitization needs, provide quotes, and deliver managed build/hosting services.
To provide, maintain, and improve our website and services.
To the extent necessary to comply with the law or to protect the legitimate rights of us and others.
3. Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal data.
To provide the service, we have the following third-party providers process data on our behalf, only as necessary: Fly.io (cloud hosting and data storage), Resend (email delivery), and Google when you sign in with a Google account. These providers’ servers may be located outside Taiwan; by using the service you understand and agree to such necessary cross-border transfers.
We may disclose data where required by law or in response to a lawful request from a judicial or competent authority.
4. Retention and deletion
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above: data submitted through the evaluation form is kept for up to 24 months from our last contact, or until you request deletion; service-related data for customers is kept for one year after the end of the service relationship, then deleted or de-identified.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, and we will process it within a reasonable period (except where retention is required by law).
5. Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, you may exercise the following rights over your personal data: access and review, request a copy, correct or supplement, request that we stop collecting/processing/using it, and request deletion.
